The EA App is the newest iteration of their PC platform for gaming and will eventually replace Origin.

To get started, simply log in with your EA/Origin account. If you're an Origin player, your friend list and progress on eligible games will transfer over to the new platform. Plus, all your content from Origin will still be available, giving you the freedom to choose where you play.
