When Droplet opens, you can choose to open an existing project or create a new project. The interface is dark gray and whites and is pleasing to the eye, like a dark mode.
While most applications offer access to everything with icons or a menu bar, Droplet uses only icons with no mouseover explanation. You'll need to try each one out yourself.
You can easily zoom in or out with your mouse.
While Droplet claims to be a stable beta (never heard of that before), we repeatedly received low frame rate messages and memory leak errors. A quick check showed that Droplet was using 25-35% of our GPU and 25% of our CPU when idle.
Droplet still needs some work, but we really like what we see. Although we can't draw, we bet with a tutorial, even we could design some neat sprites.
