The Dragon Quest franchise has a pretty solid history with spinoffs, with sub-series like Dragon Quest Monsters and Dragon Quest Builders being nearly as compelling as the mainline entries in the series. Really, it’s hard to think of a game with the Dragon Quest name attached that’s been anything less than pretty good.
