DirectX Legacy contains a handful of older versions of DirectX.

The zip file contains versions 3.0, 5.2, 6.1, 7.0, 8.0, 8.1, and 8.2. Most people are looking for 7.0, but we thought we'd include a collection in case 7.0 fails for you.

Older versions of DirectX might be required to play games on outdated operating systems, including Windows 95, 98, and XP.
