OK Peeps if you haven't seen this post (More to the Microsoft power cord replacement than meets the eye?) I suggest you do and make sure you have a good read of the Theard! It's not just the Foxlink power supply that's affected but also the Delta PSU from 2002 to early 2004 and versions 1.0 to 1.4!
There have been numerous reports of "loose power connectors" in xboxes, and the cause of this is that the solder joints on the PSU have actually broken where the connector mounts to the board from pluging and unpluging in the power cord, which can result in the xbox not powering on, or possibly even sparks, smoke, and fire.
So people with a Foxlink power supply will get a power cord with a circuit breaker for the US and UK? Which seem to have a great risk aka circuit breaker?
and people with a Delta PSU power supply will get a power cord that looks the same as the orginal cord but has a fatter end for a tighter fit for the US and UK?
