For those of you who find that UHD resolutions aren't enough, Dell, for a little while now, has got you covered with a 5K monitor. The Dell UltraSharp UP2715K is the ultimate monitor, at least on paper, with 5120x2880 pixels and support for the AdobeRGB color space. Of course it's got a price tag to match, but according to our test it's more than justified.

Some products could be compared to Moby Dick's white whale, where one has to take care not to take on Captain Ahab's role, wanting to test them badly, while they continually appear out of reach. That description definitely fits the monitors offered by Dell; some of our readers have already told us multiple times that they missed the brand in recent tests. The reason for this is, as already known, that Dell doesn't have marketing budget for the Benelux, which means they can't buy samples to give out to reviewers like us.

For now, this situation isn't likely to change in the foreseeable future, but Dell has managed to give out some samples of a small number of monitors to the Dutch market. One of those monitors, the UltraSharp UP2715K, the current flagship of Dell, was really high on our wish-list of products we'd like to test.
