DefectPX permits straightforward dead, defective, or stuck pixel detection.

To use DefectPX, change a few colors and test. It can be used for testing monitors before purchasing and testing screens during the warranty period. Since DefectPX is portable, you can test anytime and anywhere with ease. You run the test and progress through the colors with the interface visible, or you can close it out and advance the screen color by double-clicking anywhere on the colored desktop. The ESC key brings the interface back up, from there you can exit the test.

DefectPX includes mouse and keyboard shortcuts, multi-monitor support. The interface is simple and intuitive, making it of use to any user who wants to ensure their LCD monitor is up to snuff.
