Daram Renamer is a portable app to change file or directory names in batches.

Daram Renamer is a well-laid-out app that's easy to navigate. There's no file menu, so you'll need to get used to the icons, but they are easy to understand. Click on the folder to get started and select the files and folder you want to rename.

You will now find a dozen or so options that might take a few minutes to get used to the icons. But, be sure to use your right-click on any file or folder to discover at least a couple dozen more choices. Some of these include filename process, extension process, number process, date process, path process, properties process, and batch process. Each of these has numerous sub-menu choices.
