Cris Tales is a unique blend of ideas and influences. In my two previews of the game, I most frequently compared to the game to Paper Mario, which is still apt, but the game also borrows from other 16 and 32-bit JRPGs like Chrono Trigger and Valkyrie Profile, classic Disney movies, Cartoon Network favorites.
