Here's a easy 15 step guide on how to make your very own UT 2003 logo. This guide was written by Magic Sim from 3Dfxspirit!

Create your own UT 2003 logos :

Please note you need an up to date version of UnrealED (Preferably, the one that ships with UT 2003....)

1. Open the file logout2k3blank.tga in the Help folder with Paint Shop Pro or assimilated. Warning, do not go past the black circle, it's where you can work.

2. Draw whatever you want.

3. Save in 32bpp TGA and be carrefull to keep the transparency. Name the file PlaySeal_T.tga.

4. Open UnrealEd in the System folder..

5. Open the "texture browser".

6. Open your texture file NvidiaLogo_T.utx.

7. In the file menu, select Import, and select your PlaySeal_T.tga file.

8. Delete the word Gorge and validate with OK, your texture should appear somewhere in the package NvidiaLogo_T in the All group and must affect the associated shader.

9. Save as NvidiaLogo_Txxx.utx

10. Close UnrealEd.

11. In the Textures folder, search for the file NvidiaLogo_T.utx and delete it (If you installed it the way I told you to, you should have a copy in it's original form).

12. Copy NvidiaLogo_Txxx.utx in the textures folder and rename it in NvidiaLogo_T.utx.

13. Launch UT 2003.

14. To take a screenshot of your home-made logo, press F9, which will create a file named SHOTxxxxx.BMP in the System folder.

15. It's done!
