HiTech Legion takes a look at the Cooler Master Hyper 612 PWM CPU Cooler
The Cooler Master Hyper 612 PWM isn't about flash and buzzwords, it's about cooling. The Cooler Master Hyper 612 PWM doesn't feature a wizard on the box and LEDs on the fan, it features a 163mm tall tower with six copper heat pipes and some innovative design. Starting at the bottom of the Hyper 612 PWM, you find a solid copper contact base with six copper heat pipes running through. An aluminum fin array sits directly on top of the block for additional cooling. The heat pipes of the Cooler Master Hyper 612 PWM are arranged so that all six run directly over the hottest spots of your CPU, and up through the aluminum fin array. The fins are widely spaced on the Hyper 612 to allow for better flow at lower fan speeds, allowing for quieter effective cooling. The fin array is topped off with a black plate embossed with the Cooler Master logo.
