You can set a WAV file to play or use the default sound to play when the alarm is triggered. Connection Watcher also permits you to modify the alert time, which is measured in seconds.
Additionally, Connection Watcher can be configured to run a specified program in the event of disconnection and/or restoration of your Internet connection if desired.
It's important to know two things. First, Gadgets have been removed from Windows as a security risk. Second, to use any Gadgets, you'll need to install Desktop Gadgets Revived or similar. It comes with safe, tested gadgets, but you should be careful about adding any Gadgets beyond the included ones. While the threat of using third-party Gadgets isn't a big thing anymore, the possibility still exists.
