The release introduces the CloudNativePG Interface (CNPG-I), enabling users to enhance CloudNativePG with external plugins for tailored customization. The Barman Cloud Plugin illustrates the capabilities of CNPG-I, highlighting the ability to develop backup and recovery plugins independently from the operator's source code.
