BriskBard is a fast freeware web browser using Blink and Trident that also has security features and numerous tools, including FTP, email, RSS, and more.

The interface is clean, fast, and easy to use. Easy to understand icons include a menu, home, forward, backward, bookmarks, settings, and downloads. There are also icons next to the URL typing area for RSS feeds and favorite the current page. The star icon stays the same color, whether you bookmark it or not.

Bookmarks don't expand as you scroll but require clicking. A bunch of bookmarks is included, something we rarely like, especially given that it didn't offer to import our bookmarks, a huge oversight. Speaking of which, we're also not sure why the bookmark icon is a lightning bolt.

The configuration offers a few unique options, including configuration, print to PDF, precise private data, check for phishing threats, zoom, and more.

Clicking on the menu tab gives you access to many things you're not expecting, including email, media player, FTP, telnet, whois, name resolver, and much more. Each can be opened in their tab, allowing FTP, IRC, email, or even play your media in separate tabs.

BriskBard isn't perfect, but we've never seen a browser that was. If you're looking for a fast web browser that integrates email, news, FTP, IRC, and more, then BriskBaird is hard to beat. We were impressed by how many tools are integrated into a web browser that's a smaller download than most media players. We regularly post 1-3 screenshots, and for BriskBard, we posted 5 (below), which is still not enough.
