You will have probably read about NVIDIA's new dual graphics implementation by the name of SLI . It makes use of the bandwidth provided by PCI-Express and requires that the paired up cards have an "Inter-GPU" link across the top of the cards to coordinate their frame processing efforts. In developing SLI, NVIDIA worked with the "big 3" motherboard manufacturers: MSI, ASUS, and Gigabyte. However, it would seem some of the other motherboard manufacturers have their own ideas about how to implement NVIDIA's dual graphics technology, as HEXUS.net found out at the recently held NVIDIA Editors' day.
