BlockTube lets you rid your viewing experience of annoying videos/channels that YouTube's algorithm continuously sends your way. BlockTube is designed to be as lightweight and fast as possible while blocking content site-wide without ruining your overall browsing experience.

One nice feature is that it keeps your playlists/autoplay features intact (Like the MajorGeeks channel), even if they have videos you have blocked through the service. If you select it, they figure you want to be able to view it.

BlockTube is not only beneficial for your personal use, but it can also be an excellent parental control to employ for the younger YouTube watchers in the household on a shared machine. You can set a password for the UI to secure your choices and export your current setup onto another device.
