Billy is an old school, lightweight, simple audio player.

The development of Billy was dropped in 2008 while still in beta. That said, Billy still plays on Windows 10 and is a good option if you are looking for a clean, fast, lightweight audio player.

Clicking on File allows you to open a file, folder, URL, or playlist. Some of the other features we discovered include:

Rename files
File information (ID3v tags including year, artist, album, etc.)
Remove
Delete
Restore
Favorites
Playlists
Repeat
Shuffle
And more

While songs are playing, you will see an equalizer, song length with time played and remaining, and the format, kbps, and stereo or mono of the current song.

Billy isn't for everybody, but if you're looking for a simple, lightweight audio player, then give Billy a try.
