BakAndImgCD is an Open Source Linux Live CD for use in data backup and disk imaging/cloning.

The 4MLinux Backup Scripts make use of FSArchiver, GNU ddrescue, Partclone, Partimage, rsync, among other utilities. The output files (archives and images) can be optionally compressed and sent to a remote server (using Ethernet, WiFi, PPP, or PPPoE). BakAndImgCD is fully compatible with UNetbootin, for creating an easy-to-use live USB.

BakAndImgCD stands up in a category with many options to choose from, but its simplicity of use makes it stand apart compared to others.
