Auto Dark Mode lets you schedule when dark mode takes place automatically, changing from light to dark at user-defined times.

With Auto Dark Mode, you can be more productive; for instance, when it is light outside, you can set this app to have a bright and readable OS. Then once the sun sets, your OS will switch to a darker theme that will help prevent eye-strain due to an overly bright display. You can manually go in and change modes, but this can be time-consuming. Auto Dark Mode automates the process saving you time. It is presented from a straightforward interface usable for any skill level user.

By enabling the automatic theme switcher in Auto Dark Mode, a task in the Windows Task Scheduler is created, launching the app and set your theme. There is no background task, no interruption of a CMD-window, no footprint, and no reliability issues, just a simple-to-configure app.

Auto Dark Mode Features:

Theme switch based on custom times or the sun-times of your location + time offset
Desktop wallpaper switch
Windows .Theme-File switch, to also change Accent Color and Mouse Cursor
Office theme switch
You can choose if only Apps should change their theme, or both apps and system
Support for the accent color on the Taskbar and other system elements
Ability to automatically enable the grayscale color filter of Windows 10
Easy theme switch with a Jump-List, accessible from the Startmenu or Taskbar
