As the name implies ATITool is an overclocking utility designed for ATI video cards. Design target is to write a light-weight application for the enthusiast - so no questionable registry tweaks. Sorry.
What's New
added default clocks to card info display in settings better 'clock blocked' tooltip text support for selecting sound files added / rewrote sound playback engine limit slider range when clock safety is enabled added time limit for scan added shutdown system when scan complete ATITool will now log information to a file "log.txt" -- please suggest what could be added/changed there. Rendering window can be resized. exclude list for 3d detection - enter just executable names there, no pathnames, case doesn't matter, use the logfile to find out which exe caused the call added locking of reference divider To be as close as possible to your desired clock speeds atitool variates the reference divider of the clock generation circuitry on the video card. The problem with that is that this has a small effect on the other frequency (mem if you're setting core, for example). While atitool tries to minimize this effect some users might want to disable this altogether- thats what this option is for. fixed crash when you closed the app with settings open
