Just got word that Beyond3D have thrown up their ATI Radeon 9100 ICG Reference motherboard preview.
The Radeon 9100 IGP is more or less targeted as a Springdale type platform, with good all round performance, a Dual DDR400 memory bus and, after further behind the scenes dealings and IP trading with Intel, an 800MHz Frontside bus. So, in terms of system performance it should be up there with Intel?s latest entry offerings. However, as our introduction to Radeon 9100 IGP indicates, the key to RS300 is all about addressing the forgotten area of gaming.
