ATi is one of the largest chip manufacturers in the world, but despite its wide range of products and the many markets it is active in, we haven't seen any particular interest in Israel from ATi - that is, until now. Recently, three senior ATi officials came to Israel for a brief visit, during which they held a press conference and presented the company's agenda for the future home computing market.
First to speak was Chris Hook, ATi's PR Manager in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Hook focused mainly on introducing the new products from the company's various divisions, such as the Radeon Mobility X1600 GPU from the Mobile division, the X1800XT from the PC division, the new Catalyst 5.12 driver set that improves performance on dual core systems, the XBOX 360 gaming console that uses an ATi graphic processor, and ATi's new chipsets - Radeon Xpress 200.
