The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is a ~$1500 gaming laptop and as such offers a decent alternative between a less expensive laptop which depends on integrated graphics and one costing twice the price but offering high end GPU performance. At 5.5lbs it is a but heavier than other laptops of it’s size, which Ars Technica determined is because of the impressive cooling found within the laptop. The fan can get fairly loud under heavy loads, but thankfully all you hear is the sound of moving air and not bearings nor any less pleasant noises.
