ASCII Pass Gen can generate passwords or passphrases with many defining rules including numbers, letters, caps, and more.ASCII Pass Gen is portable and on startup displays a random, really long password. You won't remember that one! You have the option to show or hide the password, copy it, and should you change the rules, an update button to apply the changes. Highlight any password currently on the screen, and it will tell you how many characters are used, although it would seem better if the program kept track of how many characters you're using as you go or allowed you to set the number of characters as a defining rule. You have to highlight whatever characters you're using to copy them. After all, it's using 512 characters every time, and I don't know anyone using 512 character passwords. Not that that's a bad thing, you can create some truly complex, random passwords this way.To determine how each password is generated, there are five sections to choose from. They are All, 0-9, A-Z, a-z, and special characters. Each selection has an X next to it allowing you to create any combination you like, for example, selecting only 0-9 and Special will give you a combination of letters and characters. As you select or unselect any of the five choices, they will appear as green or red showing you what characters are currently being used.ASCII Pass Gen can probably create an unlimited number of passwords. The interface is easy to use and understand at any skill level.Download
