AScaner is a freeware, portable drive cleaner with a few extra features.

AScaner works; just press scan to get a list of files you can delete. A list of files is shown, but there is no file size, which would be nice.

In Options, you can decide what you want to clean. The usual file categories are available, but there is also app support for Sandboxie, NVIDIA, Aimp, XnView, ACDSee, Flash, uTorrent, and more.

AScaner also allows you to clear your clipboard, DNS and ARP, refresh your icon cache and clear the Recycle Bin.

You are probably wondering how well AScaner works. We found 1.59 GB with it on our daily use computer while CCleaner found 1.01 GB.

We're not sure how safe and conservative AScaner is yet, that will take some time. It appears to find the usual garbage (temp, text, DLL, log, prefetch, etc.), but as far as we can tell, AScaner only looks where junk files are expected. The interface is simple, clean, and the app is under 1MB.
