Apache HTTP Server 1.3.28 Released

Published by

The Apache Software Foundation and The Apache Server Project are pleased to announce the release of version 1.3.28 of the Apache HTTP Server ("Apache"). This Announcement notes the significant changes in 1.3.28 as compared to 1.3.27. This version of Apache is principally a bug and security fix release. It fixes rotatelogs support program on Win32 and OS/2 to ignore special control characters received over the pipe, infinite loop errors that could cause the server to crash (W2S problem?) and eliminates leaks of several file descriptors to child processes, such as CGI scripts. The Warp2Search server will be updated as soon as possible to test if the infinite loop bug mentioned to be fixed is the cause for the instability of our website service. Thanks for your patience.
