Generally, there are two screens that users refer to as Blue Screen of Death. The first one is situated within Windows NT4/2000/XP environment, while the second one is embedded in Windows 9x surroundings. Although both screens are considered "deadly," the one in Windows NT4/2000/XP environment takes the lead for a variety of reasons. Blue screens, as many of us know, have been in existence since the days of Windows 3.1 and were actually originated from IBM?s Black Screen of Death.
