The overclockers over at HardwareAsylum have set a new world record using AMD's new Athlon FX-57 CPU based on the new 90nm San-Diego core.
The record was set in PiFast, with the CPU running at almost 3.7GHz (3700MHz). This took the use of dry ice cooling (-78 Celcius) and a solid copper CPU container.
This is currently the best ever recorded time for PiFast using an AMD processor.
