AMD is conducting the AMD Athlon? 64 Processor Animation and Digital Film Contest to seek out the best animated and film shorts from around the globe. Submit your work in one of two categories, Digital Cinematography or Computer Character Animation.
Six semifinalists will be selected - three in each category ? by AMD and a panel of experts in the film and animation industry. These six submissions will be re-rendered by AMD on an AMD Athlon 64 processor-based system at the conclusion of the contest on September 2, 2003.
One grand prize winner will be selected in each category and each will receive an AMD Athlon? 64 processor-based desktop system and a $6,400 cash prize.
The six semifinalists? work will be showcased at AMD Athlon 64 launch events around the world on September 23, 2003.
