AMD has announced that it is developing an open standard specification that it believes will enable the broad adoption of small form factor (SFF) PCs. According to the company, the standard, which it is calling DTX, will take advantage of existing ATX infrastructure and benefits which include cost-efficiency, system options and backward-compatibility.
