There are malware infections that may block access to or remove the right-click context menu preventing you from the ability to run a program as an administrator. It was created to be an easy-to-use option to get around this issue. It can also be a simple way to change up how you open files requiring admin rights, even if there isn't a specific issue.

AdminRun has no interface to work with, just drag the app over to the AdminRun, and it will execute the program with full administrator rights. In essence, you just have to accept the user account control for the pc in which it is activated.
