AdiIRC is a free IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client with multiple servers and channels available and includes the ability to exchange files.

In the portable version, AdiIRC will store all its settings in text files, allowing you to just put the adiIRC folder on a USB device or external hard drive giving you the option to take all your settings and servers with you.

With AdiIRC, you will be able to communicate with the users and share files with them. This ability is due to the DCC (Direct Client-to-Client) protocol support. You can also open multiple servers simultaneously (there are numerous servers to choose from, but you can also add your own if desired); they will be available in the tabs located in at the top of the app window. AdiIRC includes multiple configuration settings available, including alerts, themes, scripts, and more. There is also an auto-reconnect that attempts to reinstate your session when interrupted.
