Today, we’ll be taking a quick look at the ADATA XPG Spectrix S40G RGB M.2 PCI-E Gen3x4 512GB SSD. It’s powered by a Realtek SSD controller (Realtek RTS5762), which is fairly new to the scene and comes with a total capacity of 512GB of 3D NAND flash memory. Sticking the usual M.2 2880 form factor, it uses the popular PCI-E Gen3x4 interface for fast data transfer, offering a read speeds of up to 3500Mb/sec, and a write speed of up to 3000Mb/sec. Furthermore, it also comes with SLC caching and DRAM buffer, as well supporting NVMe v1.3. There are two RGB LED strips, which can be found on the to pand bottom edges of the heatspreader, and this is compatible with all of the RGB ecosystems on the market, including Asus AURA sync, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and ASRock Polychrome RGB.
