Today, we’ll be taking a quick look at the Adata SC680 External SSD. This external SSD storage device has a capacity of 480GB, and utilizes the USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-C) interface. According to Adata, the SC680 can offer read speeds of around 530Mb/sec, and write speeds of upto 460Mb/sec. That’s almost x6 times faster than ordinary external hard drives.

There are a few advantages of owning an external SSD. Since there are no mechanical components inside, external SSDs tend to be more resilient than their HDD counterparts.
