Messing around with your user accounts can be frustrating and time-consuming. As you're probably aware, you either have to move the account, or worse, delete an account and recreate it, and there's a risk of lost data and more. Account Profile Fixer is as simple to use as promised.
Account Profile Fixer has a straightforward interface. All accounts are listed on the main screen. You can refresh users, handy if you add a user while working with it, and just select "Fix selected user" when ready. You will also see "Keep Windows store apps' package data from the old account" and "Keep Windows system appdata from the old account" if available. Before you begin, it also shows you what account you're about to fix.
It should be noted that sometimes simple can be scary. In this case, you have no control over what Account Profile Fixer fixes, so we suggest you make a backup or at least a system restore point. Here's what we do know; Account Profile Fixer will create a temporary admin account, reboot the computer and automatically log into that account. From that temporary user account, Account Profile Fixer will delete the broken user account, create a new one and move the data from the old profile to the new one, as shown in the screenshot below. In other words, it saves automates the process we mentioned initially to repair a broken user account.
Account Profile Fixer is your first stop before you get into deleting an account, registry editing, or worse. It's free, portable, and can be a real headache saver. We feel it's best used by advanced users familiar with copying, removing, or creating user accounts.
