TweakTown.com reports that an internal source of ours sent us along an e-mail letting us know that the ABIT IT7 MAX 2 v 2.0 was able to be overclocked to 220MHz FSB using the upcoming Intel 800MHz FSB processor, meaning a record FSB OC of 880MHz, where other motherboards had only been able to reach 180MHz FSB and thereabouts. Rancho*: Complete PR material from Abit. They used an previously unreleased Intel CPU. Furthermore they're not the first to hit such a high overclock. Anyway if you're interested what is so special about this story I recommend heading to Overclockers.com instead of Tweaktown.
