Does that mean I wont be able to install one in my car? It worked well with the Xbox and the PS2 and they didnt scratch CDs even on serious road bumps and with a pretty hard suspension. Yeah well, read/write errors would be the case if you move your pc to much but scratching the CD??? Come on... Maybe if you shake it like mad, but they only switched positions, and he wrote he did it very carefully the second time too. Remember this is a game console so lots of children will own one in their room and everytime they touch the console accidently (or not) it destroys a CD??? To be honest I was about to buy one in spring to build it into my car for my niece and nephew, but if this is indeed common I will rather wait for the PS3, even if it wont be as good as the 360 and I dont like Sony. Btw he also updated the article and said it looks like it can also happen when the console is not moved. Someone also wrote this: "You guys seem to forget that when you have surround sound there are vibrations occuring." Indeed. Get a nice 5.1 system hooked up and turn it loud and it can happen too.

RTFM - it clearly states that if you want to switch positions of console you must remove dvd first. Lack of keyboard and mouse support in fps games hurts a lot :/
