when will people learn not to buy rubbish VIA related hardware!!!!!!? everything they release has major issues that cause major reliability problems with the board :( i have had in the past, 4 VIA based boards... and NOT ONE has been trouble free! recently i swapped my a7v266 for a a7M266 (amd based) and i have had NO CRASHES OR PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER!!! go figure...

HAAHA.. You are obviously a nOob when it comes to computers?? I have had all VIA based mobos and have never had a problem with any of them. On average I run my computer 30 days straight every month with a reboot for a LANparty or maybe something I install. Granted VIA might have an issue here and there, but cmon... EVERY MOBO HAS ONE ISSUE OR ANOTHER. You cant rip on VIA without ripping on every other product or chipset out there.. SIS has problems, ALi has problems, AMD has problems, and so does VIA. You have to know how to handle your equipment. Prolly what yer girl tried to explain to you too huh?? lol.... -TD

Doesn't the A7M266 have a VIA southbridge? I think so.... ;-) Have fun with your "VIA related hardware".... Maybe the nexte time you buy something VIA-free. CU

dont be so petty.. i meant northbridge... i aint no "n00b"... i know via benchmarks pretty high on most games and stuff... but they just seem far too troublesome. AMD northbridge chipset is a lot more stable is what i was saying.. i havent crashed once running this board for over 2 months.. wheras on ALL my other boards with a VIA northbridge chipset it was crashing every 5 mins :( this is the same for everyone i have spoke to with a via northbridge motheboard yadda yadda yadda... i dont know y i am even bothering posting on this site!!!?? oh well.. see you on some proper forums...
