why spend more money on imported controllers that are the EXACT same as the ones i can buy here? and if people start crying monopoly, nintendo and sony have been doing this same crap for years..

The Japanese XBox controllers are supposed to be smaller, so some Americans with smaller hands were considering importing them. The hope is that the smaller controller would be more comfortable.
