the difference between the cards sounds to me to be quite exaggerated. Im sure nv40 will bring playable framerates, and so will r420.

Uhm, this Mark Rein fella came onto B3D and sort of called out Spellsinger as a lying sack-o-sheet. (Mark Rein is Vice President of Epic) Please at least read thru the threads before you post them, the title "Epic Vice President denies performance delta between the NV40 and R420" would have been a much more accurate and catchy title.....IMHO. ;) Nothing, repeat NOTHING Spellsinger posted up has been substanciated by anyone and the bloody VP of Epic called it bullspit....I'd say it's just an attention whore.

...but you just gotta be careful to know who is the name behind the name and why they are or are not credible as a source. Don't discount forums as a way to find news, they are a rich and wonderful source of news....but it can be REAL tricky learning to sort the wheat from the chaff and even when you think you got it all down it can still turn around and bite ya in the ass. But that's what makes it soo darn fun too... ;)

I'm concerned about the Integrity of Warp2search when people keep posting drivel like this from a forum post, this is not news. Stop posting things you can't substantiate, your no better then someone making things up and calling it news. Its becoming more like a gossip column.

Don't doubt the integrity of W2S just because they goofed a little on the story. There IS a story in that thread, and there is news in it too; just they kind of missed the point of it when they posted the story. (Or more likely, when someone submitted the story) Again, there is a LOT of news happening and being made on some forums...but you really gotta take a few minutes and actually READ them before you post up stories about 'em. ;)

if we had to verify each and every news story coming across this site (both the things that gets posted and the ones that get deleted - the most cruddy ones gets deleted), we couldnt be doing anything else all day - and since we dont get paid for our work - forget it. :P

or it is getting worse thanks to trolls like you, who obviously never makes mistakes in his life and sure ass hell isnt going to let others get off on theirs. NewsFactory is doing a great job for this site - but mistakes are bound to happen when you post the number of newsitems he does.

I love you guys, I really do. 8) Thanks for sticking up for me, I almost replied to this troll earlier but decided to refrain from feeding him...I kind of liked the fact that he said I just constantly bash nVidia without noticing that my whole post was defending nVidia in this thread! :lol: To johnrutigliano: I will stop bashing nVidia just as soon as they stop giving me reason. The horse ain't dead if it's still twitching, and nVidia has NOT changed their ways nor shown any signs of it. I'll call 'em like I see 'em, if you don't like it I suggest you try your best to just ignore me because unintelligent comments like yours REALLY don't further the whole "pro-nVidia" agenda. ;)
