is it for vice city the ps2 version, or the pc gta3 version?

AFAIK it would be extremely hard to implement PS2 multiplayer. Most of the sites mentioning it in a google search seem to say it's PC.

W2S is based largley on reader submissions, if you'd submitted it when you saw it 4 days ago, it would of been shown. :)

If your read the "features" of this multiplayer patch, you will find it sucks pretty bad. Wait for an update.
