Is it just me or is this whole 3dm2k3 fudging thing really bringing out the extreme true colors of both graphics card companies? ATi is responding intelligently and thoughtfully addressing the questions raised, and cooperating with 3dm2k3 in correcting their discrepancy. nVidia is ranting about how Futuremark (and the rest of the world too apparently ) is out to get them and it's a personal vendetta and they didn't do ANYTHING wrong and besides 3dm2k3 doesn't count! Nice one ATi, get a clue nVidia.

...does anyone else kind of wonder why nVidia included the nudity as part of the actual program? Or why Dawn is anatomically correct and has a leaf that you can't get rid of that doesn't cover up squat? Not only are nVidia liars, they're perverts as well! :lol:

Not to mention I personally think they use some underhanded behind the scenes strong-arming too to try and get their way. ;) No if's or but's about it, nVidia cheated and lied about 3dm2k3 and when faced with overwhelming evidence just threw a bit of a public hissy-fit and ran away. I have a feeling their stock prices are going to take a bit of a dip Monday, I gotta go post at MotleyFool real quick... :)

lol dunno about the nekkid part, i just ran it one time in each mode with FRAPS. theres not really any settings to play with and its only fun for so long to look at 30 sec loop where a pixie steps on some twigs. My girlfriend can do better than that ;)

yea ati optimised, but didnt cheat. i wouldnt call shuffeling instructions cheating. the output of the shaders is the same, no loss of quality, just optimised to ati architecture.
