Consoles are schwag

PC gaming has been doomed since somewhere around 1998-2000. Since then most of the released games all got more and more buggy, unfinished, short, dumb, easy, uninnovative, boring etc etc. But consoles always gained more and more market share. 1992-2000 there were at least 5 memorable new PC games every MONTH... now? maybe 5 a year IF WE'RE LUCKY. Consoles still get stronger each generation and gain a lot on the PC (and may surpass the PC for the first time when the next consoles come out). Everyone who denies that the PC is doomed, is an complete ignorant fool. Sure there will probably always be PC games, but if this keeps up the released games will hardly be enough for the casual gamer, not to mention their quality will suffer even more. for the hardcore gamer in a few years the PC will be no longer the preferable main system. And you know what? The vast majority of developers likes that. pirating is virtually nonexistant on consoles compared to the pc. but to be honest... who really cares? if the games get good and complex as possible on the PC (keyboard and mouse is no longer a no-no on an console), then who really cares if he uses a pc or console? in next generations consoles will even be able to be used as a small workstation......

Ah, so youre calling a Mac a good gaming platform? Yes, I know it theoretically is a good gaming platform, but there are only very few games for it. Remember, PC is still the king in games but we are talking about it getting run down by consoles. what would you call a pc with as many games as a mac now? a strong horse in the gaming market? yes there are mod chips and copying of discs is possible, but do you even know how many people are doing that? its a laugh! consoles dont have to fear anything. also I doubt those modding chips will live long now that MS is in the ring (and now knows about the chips) and consoles are online now too. if consoles get the crown, be sure to see much safer copy protections for them.

well...as soon as they have a mouse and keyboard as standard features on a console i will drop the pc for gaming that is.....

lol... The last console I owned was a 1st gen Gameboy and a PS1, which both are sold for at least 5 years... smartass Please dont comment on things you dont understand. FPS/RTS games will become as good on consoles as soon as there is normal support for mouse and keyboard, and as I said developers start to use those already. Mods and downloadable content? Might get some better info on the new gen of consoles if you think, consoles cant do that. even the old xbox can do that already (in a lesser extend).

Doomed from consoles. If you didnt notice it, you havent been playing computer games as long as others do. Of course people who only have been playing PC games since a few years cant comment on this, yet you still do. Youre comparing console gamers to pc gamers. Yeah I would really like to see your face if a console gamer would name you their favorite console games. and your argument here is why I say there will be better games on consoles soon. better than pc games. as I said before, PC is still the king and so the best games are still on the PC, but if you look to the past, you would notice that there were MUCH MUCH more awesome games before the consoles got so strong. but I cant expect much from an ignorant, all-knowing prick like yourself, huh? oh and btw, look at the console game market from time to time. they have much higher sales than PCs, while PC sales go down more and more. slowly but certainly. and they get even more nice games each generation. on the PS1 there were maybe 2 games I really liked, on the ps2 there were already at least 10 and on the xbox at least 25. and no, my taste didnt change, but console games changed, and they get better and better. if I look at the next gen consoles games I am drooling already. You know why it keeps going stronger and stronger with this "pc is doomed" stuff? might want to turn on whats left of your brain.... my god... even the greatest lie has some truth to it.............. but I know, youre much too cool (ignorant) to acknoledge even abit of it. read a few interviews with developers and you will know it for yourself. once again, you know nothing but think you know everything. I am offering to you to quickly search the internet for a few interviews of developers and then come back and tell me again what you think. not that I expect you to do so or even facts change your mind... ;) I told the other guy already that those chips are a total idiotic argument. read it there. guess you care more if you spend so much time copy/pasting all this and then spewing out your goo all over. :) If you dont like it, ignore it. Time will tell. we can talk again in 5-10 years.
