It's strange to think that in a year from now, this $450 ATI 9700 card will be like what we think of a GeForce1 today. The 9700 will be a low end $99 card in the not so distant future. I think Nvidia should put a socket on their nForce line of motherboards. Then I won't have to buy a $450 NV30 card. I can just buy the $50 GPU and plug it into my motherboard. They could socket the ram chips to. Then I could run 16/32/64/128 megs of their highspeed ram as money allows. Then I can just upgrade GPU chips in the future.
