Problem #6 Personal taste bias --> so that guy likes FPS, and therefore give every FPS a good score, whereas every other genre like racing get a bad score, consistently. Problem #7 Racial discrimination --> mainly on console games. That same guy again. Games made by white people consistenly get better scores than games made by Japanese ON EVERY GENRE. Problem #7 That reviewer is just a plain idiot --> whatever "he says" is gospel, and the game is good/bad ONLY maters if he likes it, bottom-line. (in contrast to actual sales numbers ... he never even think for a second why this game is so popular or why he sucks so much)

For this one, I had a specifc individual in mind when I wrote. That guy write for a certain console system. (I am still pissed. I wrote to the editor (old and new) to have that guy removed, but so far heard nothing from them) On second thought, this seems also be the case on the PC gaming platform. For exmaple, Square-Enix's Final Fantasy series, Konami's Silent Hill series, SEGA's Sega Rally 1 and 2, Sonic Heroes and etc. Time and time again, I see "certain" magazine in the USA has the habit of giving relatively poor coverage and bad scores to these games than the other major English PC games they review at that time. Mind you the ones that I mention are top-notch games, supported by sale records in their console system origins. Fundamentally, it may relate back to the other problems, but clearly there is an separate issue here.
