theres just as much justice security here as in the guantanamo camp. why not appointing him an atturney that actually can make it to court?

No, he's not the guy that made the worm, he's "just" the guy that made it more destructive. The original worm was an annoyance, his one wasn't. Serves him right whatever he gets. He should have considered his families financial situation before he did it with regards to the legal costs. As regards the "anyone could have done it" comment, maybe so, but, no-one else did, did they?
