Spice up your MX Mouse

works pretty fine on my MX510 with AN7 mobo ... used the 500Hz tweak ... does show up as 450Hz since its @ 500Hz but drops to 250 some times ... but hey since 125 is normal :D lets see if I can feel any difference

"it wont work on the MX700, MX900 or MX1000 as their receivers work at a max of 125hz. i'll only work for the corded mice.. " hah no wonder it never worked for me... damn

No USB mice I have ever used have been "jumpy" Im sure theres some problem with your mousing surface, or your setup, or your program. btw you dont need 500fps to notice 500hz.. what if your running at 30fps? 30hz would be HORRIBLE.

Next time get your facts straight first... maybe that will spare you from looking like an idiot... THIS HAS NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, TO DO WITH SCREEN REFRESHRATES!!!!!!

Actually, you damn moron, I did this and I didnt notice the things you said at all. But when I set my monitor to 60Hz and my mouse from 60 to 200Hz I noticed a very good improvement in smoothness and less latency. People are also talking about 500Hz, which is an even better improvement. Read the ***** thread, idiot. If youre unable to notice that difference, dont call people who do, idiots. Youre the ignorant and arrogant idiot here if you think it wont change a thing. Btw, ever heard of asyncronous clocks? Do you think the monitor shows the exact same frame, the mouse controls? NO, THE MPUSE ISNT CONNECTED TO THE GRAPHIC CARD. but the higher INPUT rate smoothens this async out. Do you think just because the monitor has 85Hz, the controls dont need a better INPUT rate which decrease your reaction latency in games too??? Manufacturers claim their mousesensor refreshes i.e. 800 times every second. Whats that good for if the port its on only refreshes 125 times or less? Anyway... think what you want, I already noticed youre much to ignorant to believe facts. Same thing with those sects who still believe the world is a disc... Maybe you will laugh about yourself some day, maybe you will die stupid. I laugh at you already, though.

LOL @ those who think and tell like x243x this really does have nothing to do refresh rates or FPS ... the mouse sends data when moved and the USB is scanned 125x per second if there is any data so in the worst case it can cost you 8ms from doing an input (moving mouse) till PC reacts now this has NOTHING to do with refresh rates ... because you start moving your hand actually when you see something and right at this point it could bring and optimisation of max 6ms from moving the mouse and the PC reacting ... no normal person will be able to notice a difference of 2ms nor do you notice 8ms but it is an improvement ... and since it is for free there is no problem doing it ... again ... this does just give a quicker translation from actual mouse movent to a mouving cursor nothing more no refresh rates no FPS ... those things improve your reaction time !!! so keep cool
