cause the audigy one is little more then a reworked sblive, running at 66mhz instead of 25mhz for the live! I still use a live! 4-channel, best sound card for listening yet, gone though 6 comps with me, and the bass actauly hits and sounds better then the audigy I or II, and thats really the drivers fault for those cards. I still use drivers for my live that Predate the audgiy realase, as after the audgiy was realeased. very very poor drivers have been realeased for the live! by the audigy driver team. And yes i do own a Audigy I, thankfully I don't let it reside in my main machine.

Heh Trying running any large sound fonts on the Audigy I or II, the LIVE! def sounds better and no freakin bugs like constat looping of a wave sample.
