No these are new drivers - however be warned that when i installed on XP, they froze the system and i had to restore to previous config, in order to get the system working again. However the install was over there previous version so there might be a rogue dll there - unsure. So try with a clean install. Enjoy

if you'd bother looking on the release date of the package you'd see its dated to : 29.11.01 i'd *you* are old news all over :)

Same happened to me with previous release on W2k... ended in a nice cyclic reboot... now it scares me to try again!
They say these are for both XP and W2k, right??

Also notice there's no way to update the minidisc software or whatever from a clean install...

Think YES matey. These drivers are for the entire 5.1 series, X-Gamer, MP3 etc.
