I wouldn't buy anything now with the Sony name after they decided it would be a great idea to put trojans in their music discs.

It has every reason, Sony is Sony. But you go ahead and buy the console if you want, the money just empowers them to do whatever the damn well they want. Don't buy it and it sends a message that people are tired of having their personal property (PC) violated by their installing a trojan without knowledge. What they did is criminal in any other regards. I won't buy a damn thing that says the Sony name on it now.

Absolutly, but you have to send a message somehow. Turning your back to anything with the Sony name on it is a good way to get their attention, and fast. Share holders take notice of these things with great concern and press the issue with those throwing the switches in their operations.

Agreed. Sony has proved serveral times that they are the classic "big and bad" company. Anyone remember the MD issues they had and didnt admit there were problems? Another time their camcorder reading/writing heads clogged up with residue if they were used with more than 1 cassette manufacturer. So if you used Sony cassettes and then switched to Panasonic or whatever one time it totally fucked up your camcorder, and Sony didnt admit/fix it after YEARS. Also I had so many Sony products go defective after a few years (even my noname things held 5 times as long) that I was really disappointed by Sony. Sony is supposed to be a good name and stand for quality. In the last 10 years I didnt notice anything like that. So I dont buy any Sony products anymore. And no, I wont buy a PS3. MS is a "big and bad" company too, but at least their products are getting better and better instead of worse. And Xbox vs PS2 I always heard much more PS2 problems.
